Doses Privacy Policy

Effective September 24, 2026

In short: Doses doesn't collect any data. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics and no ads. What you enter stays on your devices and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage, which we can't access.

Who we are

Doses is published by Marien Digital, 66 Achille Reisdorfflaan, 1180 Brussels, Belgium ("we", "us"). If you have a question about this policy, write to support@marien.digital.

What you enter in Doses

To work, Doses stores what you type into it: medicine names and notes, the limits you set, your course schedules, reminder times, and the times you log doses. This can be health information, so we designed the app so that we never receive it.

On your devices. Your data is stored locally on your iPhone and shared with the Doses widgets on the same iPhone.
Between your iPhone and Apple Watch. The two sync directly with each other using Apple's WatchConnectivity. Nothing goes through our servers, because we don't have any.
In iCloud. If you're signed in to iCloud, Doses keeps a copy in the private iCloud database of your Apple Account. That's how it backs up your data and keeps your devices in sync. The copy is stored by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. It's private to your Apple Account, and we can't see or access it.

What we collect

Nothing. Doses doesn't contain analytics, advertising or crash-reporting tools, and it doesn't make network requests to us or to anyone else. We don't track you across apps or websites, and we don't sell or share any data.

Notifications, Siri and widgets

Reminders are local notifications that your iPhone schedules itself. When you log a dose with Siri, Shortcuts, widgets or Control Center, the request is handled by Apple's system features on your device and saved to your Doses data. None of it is sent to us.

Purchases

Apple handles App Store purchases. We receive only the anonymous sales reports Apple provides to developers, which don't identify you.

Deleting your data

To delete a dose or a medicine, delete it in the app.
To delete everything on a device, delete the Doses app.
To delete the iCloud copy, open Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage (the exact name varies by iOS version), choose Doses, and delete its data.

Your rights

Data protection laws such as the GDPR give you rights over your personal data, including access, correction and deletion. Because we don't hold any of your data, all of it is under your control on your devices and in your iCloud account, as described above. You can still contact us with any question, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Doses is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Medical disclaimer

Doses records the limits and schedules you enter. It doesn't give medical advice. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions and the leaflet that comes with your medicine.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects how your data is handled, we'll also say so in the app's release notes.
